Anchor Industries attended Houston Offshore Technology Conference

The annual Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. This year more than 2000 companies from 110 different countries participated, and over 50 000 attendees visited the conference. “The event gave us great exposure to the industry and provided the perfect opportunity to interact with major upstream oil and gas clients. We strengthened relations with our suppliers and were able to evaluate new technologies that were presented,” explained David Pratt, Anchor Industries Cape Town Branch Manager.

About OTC 2010

Attendance at the 2010 Conference reached 72 900 as offshore energy industry experts from around the world came together to share technological advances and innovative approaches at the largest global event for offshore resources development. OTC continues to grow with two new conferences, the OTC Brazil conference, scheduled for 4-6 October 2011 in Rio de Janeiro and the first Arctic Technology Conference that will occur 7-9 February 2011 in Houston. The Arctic Technology Conference is a new conference focusing on both offshore and onshore technology for Arctic exploration and development.

Anchor Industries aligns itself with global players at the Oil & Gas Africa 2010 Expo

Anchor Industries participated in the Oil & Gas Africa 2010 Expo at the Cape Town International Convention Centre and was amongst local and international role players and service providers to the upstream oil and gas industry.

“As a marketing exercise, this Expo has provided us with a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our clients, while reaffirming our position amongst our competitors”, says Dale Hutcheson, Anchor Industries Managing Director.
